Walking Point Foundation

Walking Point Foundation (WPF) is a San Francisco Bay Area, IRS approved, 501C-3, not-for-profit organization. Our purpose is to help veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan to process their wartime experiences through the efficacy of the expressive and performing arts, thereby finding their own way forward as they re-enter civilian life.

We provide professionals in the disciplines of theater, comedy, the visual arts, filmmaking, and writing—who are veterans of their professions —to mentor the new veterans as they master a new discipline. The arts have proven to be effective in helping people with TBI and PTSD to process and communicate their experience, creating healthy pathways to future employment and mental health as well as a new confidence in finding their place back in civilian life.
